Nike and the Patta brand have released the latest images of the 4th edition of the Air Max 1 design collaboration, which follows the “Cherrywood”, “Purple Denim” and “Lucky Green” colorways, which will be released this fall. Introduced on social media site Instagram over the weekend, Edson Sabajo of the Patta brand attended the Sneakerness conference last weekend wearing what is believed to be a version of the Nike Air Max 1. The ‘Monarch’ colorway with pastel tones is reminiscent of the Nike Air Max 2 ’94 and features a unique Swoosh embroidered on the forefoot.
The photo posted on Instagram is accompanied by a teaser video for Nike and Patta’s next product and project called The Wave, directed by Mahaneela, produced by Steve McQueen, and co-produced. Martine Rose, Mo Farah, Little Simz and many others featured.
