Recently, Nike has attracted attention when launching a new version of Air Max 97 called “Cracked Gold”. While it may be that some people may prefer to wear newly released sneakers, such as the Dior collab Air Jordan 1 by Daniel Arsham, there are clearly still followers who are passionate about classic designs such as Air Max 97. Let’s discover this new design of Nike Weathers Air Max 97 with Storepc.
The Nike Air Max 97 is a very popular sports shoe from the North American sportswear company and true to its name, this design was released in 1997. Designed by Christian Tresser, this shoe has been inspired by Japan’s bullet train.
What’s more, the original “Metallic Silver” colorway of these sneakers draws on one of the designer’s long-standing favorites: mountain biking. Throughout the ’90s, most of the sports gear and accessories were coated in titanium and silver, which matched the Air Max 97’s wavy design.
The Nike Air Max 97 “Cracked Gold” Shoe will feature a Gold Mesh upper lined with reflective overlay bands over a black overlay seen from the overlays and a gold leaf leather midsole chink. A black sockliner and mesh tongue with silver eyelets contrast the metal dominance on the white midsole, which houses a full-length Air unit sealed with a black rubber outsole.
Look for the Nike Air Max 97 “Cracked Gold” to release in the coming weeks at select retailers and Nike websites for $170 USD.
